미국 이민국(USCIS)은 2026년 10월 7일 Form G-1055, Fee Schedule의 새 버전(10/07/26)을 발표했습니다. 동시에 FY2027을 맞아 H.R. 1(Public Law 119-21)에 따라 부과되는 일부 이민 관련 수수료가 물가상승률에 맞추어 조정됩니다.
USCIS released a new edition of Form G-1055, the Fee Schedule (10/07/26) on October 7, 2026. At the same time, for FY2027, certain immigration fees charged under H.R. 1 (Public Law 119-21) are adjusted for inflation.
이번 변경은 2026년 10월 16일 또는 그 이후 우편 소인(postmark)이 찍힌 신청서부터 적용됩니다. 잘못된 수수료를 제출하면 신청서가 접수 단계에서 거절될 수 있으므로, 10월 중순 이후 접수를 준비하고 있다면 최신 수수료를 반드시 다시 확인해야 합니다.
The change applies to filings postmarked on or after October 16, 2026. Submitting the wrong fee can cause a filing to be rejected at intake, so anyone filing after mid-October should re-verify the current fee.

2025년 제정된 H.R. 1은 특정 이민 신청·혜택에 대해 별도의 수수료를 신설하면서, 그 금액을 매년 소비자물가지수(CPI-U)에 따라 조정하도록 규정했습니다. USCIS에 따르면 2025년 7월부터 2026년 7월까지 CPI-U는 약 3.36% 상승했고, 이에 따라 일부 H.R.1 수수료가 FY2027부터 조정됩니다.
Enacted in 2025, H.R. 1 created separate fees for certain filings/benefits and requires annual adjustment by the Consumer Price Index (CPI-U). Per USCIS, CPI-U rose about 3.36% from July 2025 to July 2026, so certain H.R.1 fees are adjusted for FY2027.

취업비자에서 가장 많이 쓰이는 서류는 Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker로, H-1B·L-1·O-1 등 여러 비이민 취업비자의 대표 청원서입니다. 이번 10월 16일 FY2027 H.R.1 물가조정으로 I-129의 일반 기본 filing fee 자체가 일괄 인상되는 것은 아닙니다. 다만 USCIS는 10월 7일 새 G-1055에서 특정 I-129 및 I-129CW 분류의 온라인 접수 수수료를 새롭게 반영했습니다.
The main work-visa form is Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker (H-1B, L-1, O-1, etc.). The October 16 FY2027 H.R.1 adjustment does not broadly raise the general I-129 base filing fee. However, the new G-1055 (Oct 7) does reflect online-filing fees for certain I-129 and I-129CW classifications.
